When is the Adopt A School Program Offered?
Throughout the year different programs occur for different grades and district wide
Why Do We Offer the Program?
Every three years St. Luke’s conducts a Community Health Needs Assessment where we have found Adolescent Health, Mental Health, Access to Care (medical, dental, vision, insurance), Chronic Disease Prevention & Management and Elder Health as the priority needs in the community.
Adopt a School Vision: Partnering in our community to connect and assist individuals and families in navigating the health care system, and to promote and improve physical and mental health, so that every individual has the opportunity to maximize their health and educational outcomes leading to happier, healthier and longer lives.
Adopt a School Mission: The mission of the Adopt a School program is to create an environment where the school district is the hub to cultivate the physical and mental well-being of individuals and families in our community through collaborative partnerships, using evidence based programs, to connect families to health services (medical, dental, vision, mental health and insurance) while promoting healthy living initiatives, literacy and leadership to improve the health and educational outcomes of students.
